clip for future

I fell backwards, and looked up at her. She stood tall, but was still shaking. Her hands were balled up into fist, and her shoulders were pulled back and straight. She looked down, but couldn't focus on me because of the drugs. She looked strong, but her eyes said different. Fear and confusion, covered in a milky fog. She was lost, but is still fighting.

"They hurt you, didn't they?" I asked, examining her bruised arms, cut up face, and burned hands. I slowly stood up, and took a step back. "I'm so sorry for leaving you alone. But I got you out, your safe now."

She looked at me, her eyes narrowed, jaw tight, but not a word came from her lips. I walked up to her, and brushed my finger down her jaw line. But still no movement.

"I'll never let you run alone ever again," I promised softly.

Her shoulders sank down slowly, and tears started to form in her pain filled eyes.

"I've missed you, Jay," She whispered quietly, before wrapping her arms around me, and breaking down in my arms. Clinging her weak, thin, broken body to mine. I held her close and tight. Giving her comfort and protection, while her tears, and pain gave me regret, and guilt.

chapter 6

Chapter 6

I felt something move underneath me, so I flashed my eyes open. I was strapped to a bed. I looked around and the ceiling was curved, and every thing was moving. There was a lady reading a magazine in the corner. She was wearing a blue dress, and her long brown hair was braded and was hanging over her shoulder. Her name tag said Sue. Then something shook the room again, and she looked up.
“Ahh, your up. You hungry?” She had a fair voice and a gentle smile.
“No, um, were am I? Where are my parents? What’s going…” She cut me off by holding her hand up.
“You’re on a plane, heading to a hospital in Deckerville, Michigan. Your parents are sending you,” She talked very smoothly, probably making sure I understood what was going on. Then the plane started to go down, and it made my stomach go up. Unexpectingly, I felt a grown leave my lips. “looks like the plane is landing, that means more medicine,” My stomach felt worse when I saw her filling up a needle with liquid and started to roll my sleeve up. She was going to give me a shot WHILE I’m in a freaking’ PLANE!
“Please, I’m okay, seriously,” I felt the cold rubbing alchohol on my skin. “I don’t need that shot,” Oveleasily, you can tell that I hate needles.
“Don’t worry. With in 5 minute you’ll be snoozing, and wake up in the hospital,” Then she stabbed it in my arm. I felt it brake threw the skin. My mussels in my jaw tightened, and I squinted my eyes. Owww. But she was right, a minute later I started to get drowzy, a then fell asleep.

Chapter 1-5

Sorry about spelling! And this is just a rough draft, I will be changing things.

Hi, my name is Margret Love. I just recently moved from L.A. California to Englewood Colorado. That means a new school. But by the end of my first week there, strange things were happening to me. So I was sent to a Hospital for help, all the way in Michigan. One day I was perfectly normal, and the next….. a nightmare.

This could happen to you or to any one
This is not just my story,
This could be your future.
Watch for the warnings
_Mark(Margret Love)
Part 1

What good start?

Chapter 1
After my dad’s company moved, I was kissing California’s sun shine good bye and started packing my things for Englewood Colorado.
The house was nice, but it didn’t feel like home. My mom said I’d get use to it, all of it. The town, the state, the neighbors, and the new school. Of witch I’d be attending tomorrow. At first I thought she was right, but she wasn’t. And sense I now live in a safe neighborhood; I had to walk to school. Perfect.
When I first walked into Englewood middle school, it was empty. Good. But why did it smell like bleach? I didn’t want to know. I followed the map of the school that I printed out yesterday and found the office.
When I walked in, the smell of bleach was automatically was replaced with a powerful peppermint sent that made my eyes burn and water. I blinked a few times and walked up to the little old lady behind the desk. She was the source of the smell.
“Can I help you?”She asked. The name on the desk said ‘Ms. Rice’ talk about a sad name.
“Um, ya,” Then she glared at me like I was going to jump over the desk and start stuffing stuff in my pockets. “I new hear, so I need my locker combo, and classes,” I tried to sound more innocent, but it didn’t work.
“Name”
“Margret Love”
“Grade”
“8th”
“Hmmm,” She started to looking threw a filing box. Not to mention moving in slow motion. I wished she’d hurry up. Watching her leather skin move made me almost want to barf. And that peppermint smell was worse because I was closer to her, but I didn’t see any thing in her mouth. So it must be an overload of peppermint perfume. Yuk!
“Ah, here we are, Have a nice day!”
“Thanks,” As I was leaving, I swear I heard her laugh, and that sent shivers down my spine.
I walked around for 10 minutes until I finally found my locker. Sweet! A-27, a top locker. Normally, students who come in, in the middle of the school year get a bottom locker. But not me! I slowly turned the knob to 27-32-9, Bingo! I pulled the lever up and swung it open, then in a blink of an eye, some one slammed it shut, making me jump back.

Chapter 2

I spun around fast, “What the crap is wrong with you!?” A yelled, forgetting I was the new girl. A boy was standing there laughing, pointing at my face.
“I was just saying hi!” He said tauntingly. He was at lest a head taller than me, with dirty blond hair with some red in it, and it was spiked with hair gel. Oh, goody. Hair gel = I’m trying to be cool, even though I’m not. “You must be the new bee,” and he sounds like a first grader. “I’m Derik, and don’t get in my way. I’m the boss of this school. And don’t think just because you’re a girl, doesn’t mean I won’t pick on you. Here’s a list of things you can pay me for. No pulling hair for a week is 20 bucks. No stealing from you for 2 days is 10 bucks….
He kept on going on with that stuff, but I blocked him out. Besides the only thing running threw my head was, ‘Oh, my, gosh! He has his own company that will never make it.’
“Well since this is your first day here, I won’t pick on you until the bell rings. Sounds good?” He sounded like he was making an appointment.
“Ya, that just sounds Joy Rancher,” I swung my arm up in the air, and tried to use words that he’d understand. Then he smiled and left. “What a dork!” I mumbled as he walked away. I opened my locker up again and put my bag in, but kept my binder with me. I had 20 minutes before the 5 min. warning bell rang, so I walked around and found my classes.
I was getting a drink of water when the bell rang. Right then I felt a hand on the back of my head and push me down into the drinking fountain. I felt the Icy cold water hit my face. Then I heard Derik laughing. “I said when the bell rang!” I dried my face with my sleeve and started to walk to A1, Science with Mr. Flokes.
On my way there, little sevies (seventh graders) were squirming around every where, like mice in a city. Trying to dodge every one, and when they bumped into some one, they ran for there lives.
Really? I though. With every step I take, the weirder this school got. And every thing still smelt like bleach for some odd reason. But this was my new school, and I had to get used to it.

Chapter 3

When I walked into Mr. Flokes room, there were about 8 tables with 4 seats around each table. All the seats were taken, except for some stools in the back, where I most likely will be sitting. I turn my attention to were Mr. Flockes was sitting.
He had really white hair that was comb backed. He looked a bit French with his glasses. I walked up to him and he stopped typing and gave me the same glare as Ms. Rice. It was like every one in the school thought I was going to comment a crime any minute!
“Hey, this is my first day here, and my list says this is my A1 class.”I said
“Ah, yes.” Totally, with French accent. Gee wiz! What a wann-a-bee! “Go sit by Chance, over in the back left corner.”
“Okay, thanks,” I was right; I sat on the back row, shoved on a stool. As I walked to my seat, it felt like I was walking to my death. Every one watch me go to my seat and sit down. It seemed like an hour before class finally started.
“Class. We have a new student in our class. Margret is going to tell us some information about her. Margret, can you please come up to the front of the class?”
So as soon as I had to do the dreadful walk to my seat, I had to do it again, give a speech, than once again walk back. So I got out of my seat, edged past Chance and walked up to the front.
“Um, hi!” Dead silences, but every pair of eyes were on me. “I’m Margret Love, but you can call me Mark,” Every one started laughing. I think I like the silences better.
“How did your last school got Mark from Margret?” It was a boy’s voice, it sounded familiar. I look to see who asked, and it was Derik.
“Why do ask?” I snared at him.
“Well Mark is a boy’s name. Does that mean you’re a boy?”
We wanted to come up with a nick name and Marg didn’t work, Mark sounded better. Do you have a problem with that?” I could tell he didn’t care.
“Where are you from?” I heard a girl ask.
“L.A., California.”Every one sounded shocked
“Well at lest there is one cool thing about you.”I couldn’t tell if he was trying to hurt my feeling or what.
I went back to my seat and started to tack notes. No one talked to me, even that Chance kid. My next class was the same, just Derik wasn’t in there with me. Then it was time for lunch.
I had no one to sit by. So I picked a table and sat at the end, with sevies on the other side. When I sat down, there eyes got widened and watched me eat. Just so they would think I was alone, I kept looking over at the cafeteria line so they’d think I was waiting for some one. I tried not to eat too fast or too slow, because too fast they’d think I was up to something. Too slow, they’d know I was alone.
When I was done, I went and sat on a bench, counting how many people would look at me. It didn’t matter. This was my first week. Next week, I’ll have people to talk to. This week was just the silent week.

Chapter 4

The rest of the week was the same. Telling people my name, explaining why to call me Mark, and some other things. But Friday was different, almost scary.
In A1 I was listening to Mr. Flockes, when all of a sudden a watery- blue spear was surrounding my pencil. It tried to touch it but my hand wouldn’t go passed it. I jumped back and fell off my chair. The whole class started roawing with laughter. I didn’t care. I got up, but the spear was gone.
Un A2 it was back, but worse, it was bigger! I looked up and it was around a kid! I blinked my eyes a few times, and it left. I started concentrating on my assignment again, but then it was around Miss Brone! I felt so sick. I jumped right then, when the bell rang. Miss Brone asked if I was okay, I just said nothing. She didn’t even noticed it, no one did. She wouldn’t understand.
I wasn’t hungry, so I went to the school library and sat down in the math text book section, knowing that no one would go there. I pulled my knees up to my head and started to try to figure out what happened this morning.
Then I heard whispering. I got up and stood up against the book shelf to listen is. It was Derik and his friends. They where in the history section. They were just sitting. They’ve been by me this whole time?
“Hey, you know that new girl, Mark?” That kid was in my A2 history class.
“Ya, what about her? You like her?”Derik asked teasingly
Why were they talking about me?
“No, but in history she was all white, and kept on looking around the room. Every once in a while her eyes would get really big!” He sounded a bit scared.
“Hmm. Well in science she was white too and she fell off her chair! HA! It was so funny!”
I backed away, breathing hard, and started feeling a cold sweat on my forehead. Nobody saw what was happening, except for me. What if I was making those spheres, but that’s impossible! I was standing there in shock, every one knows something’s wrong with me. Then all of a sudden the bell rang, I jump and fell back, hitting my head on the book shelf. I fell down and rubbed my head. I calmed myself down and got up and left for English.
On the way to English I tried keeping a normal face. When I arrived I sat down at my desk and continued to try to calm myself down.
The first 10 minutes of class were normal, thank goodness! I was writing a poem when my whole hand disappeared, but I could still fell it holding my pen. I felt sick again. But then my hand was back! What was going on with me today?!
“Margret?” Mrs. Banks looked a bit worried.
“Huh? Oh, ya?”
“Are you okay? Do you want to move to the back table? You look a bit sick.” The whole class was looking at me.
“Ahh, Sure," I gathered my things and went to the back table. On the way to the back, some boys were making barfing noises, which didn’t help at all. I sat down and started twirling my pen in my hand, and then I heard something in the hall. It was really loud. And every 3 seconds I felt a wave hit me that gave me a little push.
“Margret! Please pay attention. This is important,” Now Mrs. Banks looked a little mad.
“I’m sorry, but I’m too poor to afford to pay attention,” It just came out of my mouth. The class and Mrs. Banks were shocked what I just said. They were all looking at me, but I kept on looking out the door listening to that weird noise, I just couldn’t handle it any more!
“Excuse me Margret?’’Mrs. Banks was turning red.
“Your excused,” she looked like she was going to explode. I stood up and started running down the hallway. When I was ½ way down I heard a kid yell at me saying that Mrs. Banks was calling the police. But I didn’t care I had to find that noise.
I was running up and down halls. I turned the corner and 2 police men were standing there, and then started running after me. I turned around and started running again down another hallway. It was getting louder, I was getting closer, and then some one grabbed my arm.
I stopped and turned around. I t was one of the police men. I tried shaking him away, and I tried running. I had to find out what was making that noise. He started pulling me away; Students were starting to gather at every door way. I felt tears coming out, and then fell to the ground. The 2nd police man came and grabbed my other arm, and they both pulled me up. I didn’t want to stand, but I did.
“Come on; let’s take you to get some help.”
“No, I can’t. The noise, I have to find it!”
“Let’s go,” They started to drag me off with them. I closed my eyes and let my checks soak up my tears, while I listened to the whispers around me that were flooding my head.
Why me?
Why?

Chapter 5

“Dude, Your crazy! Why are you doing this?” Drew asked while watching Brandon help get Marvin ready for one of his crazy ideas.
“Man, being crazy is what make things fun!” Marvin replied once he got his helmet on.
“Okay Marv. You’re ready!” Brandon slapped him on the back and Marvin started to climb on top of the van.
“Come on, Drew is right. You’re going to hit a tree!” Zack said, trying to sound convencing.
“Will I die?” Marvin started to bring his skateboard up to him by using his mind. Zack paused for a minute and closed his eyes to see.
“Sadly, no,” He responded. Then almost jumped when jay came out of the shadows and started talking.
“When did you get the idea to ride a skateboard on top of a moving car?”
“Hmm, beats me! But you have the power to stop me, so why don’t you stop me?” Marvin was locking his board onto of the rack on top of the van.
“Because if I do, you’ll just come back when I’m gone, and when I’m unable to stop you. Just like the time you used a bed sheet as a parasuit and jumped off the roof of you house.”Jay said, darkly looking up at him.
“Ya, then you were in the hospital for a week!” Zack agreed, like always
“Well, look on the bright side! I didn’t have to go to school. Okay start the car!” he said while positioning him self on top of the car.
“Forget it! I’m not starting it until Brandon turns 16 and gets his drivers listens’.”
“Come on Drew! Just start the car. Who cares if I’m just 14?” Brandon walked threw the door and sat down.
“Oh-My,” Drew turned around and closed his eyes and concentrated to start the car. And then it roared to life. “There. Happy?”
“Show time!” Marvin clapped his hands and the van started to move, While Drew, Zack, and Jay watch them. Then Brandon started to move faster. “YA!! This is AWSOME!!” That second, Brandon did a sharp turn that made Marvin to flying off the car into a tree, head first.
Brandon slammed on the brakes and jumped out. Marvin started to fall, hitting every branch on the way down, and then finial hit the ground. They all rushed over to see him.
“Ahh, I think his knee is broken,” Zack pointed out.
“Why do you say that?”Drew asked.
“Well, I’m no doctor, but um, He’s lying flat on his face, he’s not moving, and his leg is like this, when it should be like this,” While Zack said this, he used his hand to show how he’s knee should look like. “Plus, I think he’s knocked-out,” They all looked down at Marvin’s nonmoving body.
“I’ll call an ambulance,” Jay said it as if it has happened a million time. (Which it did)
“Good idea,” Drew was now poking him with a stick, making sure he was not completely knotted out.
“You know, he’s going to be mad when he wakes up.”Brandon looked a little worried.
“Why?” Drew stopped poking him, realizing he was really knotted-out.
“His skateboard is history!” Brandon pulled Marvin’s skateboard out off the tree. 2 wheels broke off, and it was snapped in half. Then the ambulance arrived and took Marvin away to the hospital.
“So, who’s going to tell his parents?” Brandon looked a bit more nervous when every one just stared at him. He sighed and said, “Okay, send me to my death, again, like always,” They all smiled then left.
